About Me
My My name is Elisha Lau, an online student at Biola University pursuing a degree in Business Management. I’m drawn to the breadth and diversity of subjects within my major, which perfectly align with my appetite for a varied and dynamic learning experience.
Raised across five countries—Singapore, the UK, Dubai, Malaysia, and the Philippines—I’ve developed a distinctly international perspective. This global upbringing has shaped my ability to understand diverse viewpoints, adapt to new environments, and think with a cross-cultural lens, qualities that I bring to every academic and professional endeavor.
I’m future-focused and deeply passionate about exploring emerging technologies and ideas, especially Artificial Intelligence. During high school, I authored a research paper on the evolving role of AI—a topic that continues to captivate me. Today, I actively engage with AI not only as a research tool, but as a coding assistant, a source of scholarly references, and a personalized tutor. I’ve learned how to harness its capabilities responsibly and effectively.
That commitment to innovation is woven into everything I do—including the creation of this very site, which was brought to life with the help of AI. I’m excited to continue exploring new applications as I move forward in my academic journey and professional career.

Highschool - Wellspring Christian Family Schools
Going through high school, I was homeschooled. Nevertheless, I was able to participate in various organizations and interact with my peers.
College - Biola University
Coming to Biola was something I did not expect, but God eventually led me to this fantastic college. Here, I am able to consistently perform well, and looking to graduate with honors.
Throughout high school, I remained committed to academic excellence, maintaining a strong GPA alongside a competitive SAT score. These achievements opened doors to various university opportunities and reflected the discipline I carried through my studies. Outside the classroom, I served on the leadership committee of the literature club for over three years, organizing a large post–COVID-19 in-person event where I acted as both speaker and judge—an experience that reinforced my skills in communication and event planning.
In college, my academic journey has continued to flourish. At Biola University, I’ve built on my foundations to maintain a strong GPA at the university level, demonstrating my ability to perform consistently across more advanced and varied coursework. With academics firmly in place, I’ve made it a priority to participate in volunteer efforts through nonprofit and church initiatives. I'm also actively seeking internships and part-time opportunities across industries to supplement my studies with real-world experience.

Strategic and Ideation combine naturally for me. Coming up with ideas is second nature for me and I can quickly map out their potential.

I’ve always been passionate about exploring new ideas and experiences. Over the years, my interests have ranged from writing novels to go-kart racing to navigating the complexities of cryptocurrency. I’ve dipped my toes into each—penned chapters of a book, tested my limits on the track, and studied the ebb and flow of financial markets—all driven by a deep curiosity and an eagerness to learn by doing.
I believe in the power of experience—immersing myself in a subject, absorbing all I can, and then stepping boldly into action. Whenever something sparked my interest, I jumped in headfirst, guided by instinct and fueled by the thrill of discovery.
Today, with more pressing priorities shaping my path, these passions have taken on a quieter role. Yet they remain vivid aspirations—goals I still dream of pursuing with conviction. I envision one day mastering the intricacies of finance, bringing a novel to life, and racing on the world stage. And perhaps, just maybe, these dreams will evolve into a career—whether it’s in financial analysis, storytelling, or motorsports.
